Zelensky to meet with European leaders in London to discuss possible security guarantees
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to meet with more than a dozen European leaders in London on March 2 to discuss security guarantees Europe could provide Kyiv in the event of a ceasefire, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
During the summit, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron are expected to update their counterparts on their recent discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington.
Starmer has invited the leaders of Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Finland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and Romania. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and European Council President António Costa are also expected to take part.
