Russian forces launched an overnight missile strike on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia on Thursday, hitting residential buildings, according to the region’s governor, Ivan Fedorov. He reported four explosions in the city.
The attack killed a 47-year-old local resident and injured 24 others, including a two-month-old baby, Fedorov said. Four employees of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service were among the injured.
Fedorov shared photos and videos of the destruction, including one video captioned, “This is what a home hit by a Russian missile looks like.”
